MARI® Creative Resources provides teaching and training programs that encourage wellness
in mental health using the MARI® psychological assessment. Our goal is to provide a quality training
program and excellent service in the administration of teacher
training and certification. We also promote creativity and innovation
within the organization, particularly in areas that promote practitioner
satisfaction and continuing education, by providing products and
services at a reasonable cost.
MARI® Creative
Resources provides training to the mental health care sector
which includes mental health professionals, providers of
counseling in a therapeutic setting, art therapists, and a network
of licensed/certified practitioners of holistic, alternative
and wellness mental health therapies. It also provides services
to those who use less traditionally oriented approaches such
as Myers-Briggsョ or Neuro-Linguistic
Programming (NLP).
The
Mandala Assessment Research Instrument, or MARI®,
is rooted in the research and systematic study of thousands of
client-drawn mandalas. This research was implemented and
conducted by art therapist Joan Kellogg in the 1970’s. The
MARI® as we know it now first took form in Joan’s Master’s
thesis in the 1980’s. Since its invention, the MARI® has been continually researched, modified and enhanced for over
roughly twenty years with input by the many different therapists
who use the MARI® with clients. The MARI®,
as it exists today, will continue to disclose itself and evolve
over time. We invite research proposals and written experiences
of MARI®.
MARI® RESOURCES and all rights associated to MARI® are owned by Michele (Shelley) Takei, Ph.D. and Frank Takei, Ph.D. MARI® RESOURCES is the parent company of MARI® CREATIVE RESOURCES and MARI® COACHING RESOURCES.
