MARI® Level
I Workshop:
1.
Prerequisites:
Open to all individuals who have expressed interest in the MARI® process. 2. This seminar will be over three days from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. 3. Contents of the seminar:
a. Undertake the creation of a personal Mandala and selection of
symbol/
color cards. In addition, the individual will select four
symbol/color cards
for purposes of guidance. b. Detailed
examination of the thirteen stages of The Great Round
c. General introduction to the meaning of colors.
d. Undertake interpretation of one's Mandala, selection of
symbol/color
cards under the supervision of the teacher/trainer. 4. At the conclusion of this seminar, each individual will receive a Certificate
of Completion, provided that he/she has paid the fees, has
been present
for all
sessions and has completed all assignments. Further, mental
health
professionals and other similarly qualified individuals will be awarded CEUs (Continuing
Education Credits) by the National Board of Certified Counselors. 5. The individual assumes the financial responsibility
for the following: a. The
cost of MARI®
materials b. Cost of seminar c. Travel expenses to and from the MARI® seminar
site d. Lodging and meals

MARI® Level
II Workshop:
1. Prerequisites:
a. MARI® Level I Seminar
b. Has administered three practice sessions with the mandala and symbol/color
cards and has brought the data from these practice sessions to this seminar
for discussion.
c. Submitted a written report of how the individual has enacted/internalized
the
issues identified in the guidance cards in the Level I seminar.
2. This seminar will be over three days from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
3. Contents of this seminar:
a. Discussion of data from the three practice sessions.
b. Review of the thirteen stages of The Great Round.
c. Detailed examination of the meaning of colors in relation to each of the
thirteen stages.
d. Detailed examination of the process of the administration of the MARI®.
e. Creative Synthesis.
4. At the conclusion of this seminar, each individual will receive a Certificate
of
Completion, provided he/she has paid the fees, has been present for all sessions
and has completed all assignments. Mental health
professionals and other
similarly qualified individuals will also be awarded Continuing
Education
Credits
by the National Board of Certified Counselors.
5. The individual assumes the financial responsibility for the following:
a. Purchase of Joan Kellogg's Mandala: Path of Beauty, (available
at training).
b. Cost of seminar
c. Travel expenses to and from the MARI® Level
II Seminar site.
d. Lodging and meals. |

MARI® Level
III Teacher Training Seminar and Other Requirements 1. Prerequisites:
a. MARI® Level II seminar.
b. Open to those individuals (henceforth called candidates) whose goal is to
become a MARI® teacher/trainer.
c. Accredited Master's degree: I. First Option- Those who possess an accredited Master's degree with at
least 48 credits in one of the mental health, art therapy, and other
related professions: These candidates, upon completion of the program
and thus in a position
to offer MARI® Level I and II seminars, will
potentially be able to
offer Continuing Education Credits with
the
National Board of Certified Counselors. II.
Second Option- Those who possess other accredited Master's degrees:
These candidates, upon completion of the program and thus in a
position to offer
MARI® Level I and II seminars, will
not be able to
offer Continuing Education Credits with the National Board of
Certified Counselors. However, these candidates may be in a position to pursue the offering of
CEUs with other professional agencies.
d. The candidate will have administered five mandala and symbol/color cards,
undertaken relevant assessments, and will discuss his/her assessments at
this seminar. 2. This seminar will be over three days from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. 3. Contents of this seminar:
a. Review of materials from MARI® Level
I and Level II Seminars.
b. Present a written report explaining how the individual is manifesting
the Creative Synthesis in his/her life.
c. Pedagogical and Philosophical issues relative to the administration and
interpretation of the MARI®.
d. Financial and legal issues relative to the administration of the MARI®.
e. Financial and legal issues relative to the relationship of the teacher/trainer
with MARI® Resources,
LLC, MARI® Creative Resources,
Inc.,
and MARI® Coaching Resources,
Inc. 4. At the conclusion of this seminar, each individual will receive a Certificate
of Completion, provided he/she has paid the fees, has been present for all
sessions and has completed all assignments. Mental health professions and
other similarly qualified individuals will be awarded Continuing Education Credits by the National Board of Certified Counselors. 5. The candidate assumes the financial responsibility for the following; a. Cost of Seminar
b. Cost of travel to and from the MARI® Level
II site.
c. Lodging and meals. 6.
Internship in MARI® Level I Seminar: The candidate
will be under the
supervision of a MARI® teacher/trainer
and assist him/her in the presentation
of the materials. The MARI® teacher/trainer
will discuss strengths and
weaknesses with the candidate and file a
report with MARI® Creative
Resources, Inc. The candidate assumes the financial responsibility
for the
following: a. Cost of seminar: none b. Cost of travel to and from the site c. Lodging and meals 7.
Internship in MARI® Level II Seminar: The candidate
will be under the
supervision of a MARI® teacher/trainer
and assist him/her in the presentation
of the materials. The MARI® teacher/trainer
will discuss strengths and
weaknesses with the candidate and file a
report with MARI® Creative
Resources, Inc. The candidate assumes the financial responsibility
for the
following: a. Cost of seminar: none b. Cost of travel to and from the site c. Lodging and meals 8.
Host a MARI® Level I Seminar: The candidate will
consult with MARI®
Creative Resources, Inc. and will be responsible for all aspects of sponsoring and
presenting the contents of this seminar, under the supervision
of a MARI®
teacher/trainer designated by MARI® Creative
Resources, Inc. The candidate
assumes the financial responsibility for the following:
a. Collecting monies for MARI® materials.
b. Collecting monies for the seminar.
c. Monies collected from the seminar will be equally shared by the candidate
and the supervisor after expenses for the seminar (including expenses
incurred by the candidate and supervisor) have been accounted for.

Complete a Research Project:
a. A research projects is: 1) to identify a specific population; 2) to conduct
the MARI® with a minimum
of ten subjects; 3) to interpret the results
of the assessments.
b. The research project is to be submitted as a written report, double spaced,
using the American Psychological Association style sheet.
c. This project is to undertaken under the supervision
of a MARI® teacher/
trainer designated by MARI® Creative
Resources, Inc.
d. The candidate will submit three bound copies of his/her
project to MARI®
Creative Resources,
Inc.
e. This project will be placed in the MARI® Creative
Resources Research
Projects Library (and possibly online), and will be available for use by teachers/trainers,
candidates and interested individuals.
f. The candidate assumes the financial responsibility for the following:
I. Administrative costs II. Binding of the project 10. Upon completion of the above, the candidate will receive a Certificate
of
Completion designating him/her as MARI® Teacher/Trainer,
provided
he/she has paid all fees, has been present for all sessions, and has completed
all assignments.
